Spinal Flow Workshop

Join me for an extended class focusing on the breath, and how it can help us move more fluidly throughout the body, but especially throughout the spine. We will finish with a short relaxation to end the class.

Please bring your own equipment to the workshop: a mat, yoga block, headrest (or small towel or cushion), a small Pilates ball and a band.

Suitable for all except those with osteopenia/osteoporosis.

Back Care Workshop

This workshop is suitable for all, but especially those with osteoporosis or other back issues that currently limit flexion (forward bending) of the spine. We will look at how to modify exercises so that they are safe and pain free, and how to keep our spines strong and healthy in relation to our Pilates practice.

Please bring your own equipment to the workshop: a mat, yoga block, headrest (or small towel or cushion), a small Pilates ball, a band and a broom handle!

Suitable for all levels.

Pilates Flow & Relaxation

We will 'flow' through an improvers/intermediate level class before finishing with a short relaxation - a moment of calm before the madness of December sets in!

Check Your Technique!

The overriding request for a workshop subject has been to check our Pilates 'technique' is still correct after 18 months of online classes, so this first workshop will look at that!

We will delve deeper into the pelvic floor and deep abdominal connection, our breath, pelvic and shoulder stability.
